Mentors Make a Difference
You can make a difference in the life of a family by becoming a family mentor. A family mentor is an adult, 21 years or older who is able to positively influence a family's life. Children and families are in need of your support and many of them do not have a person whom they can rely on. If you are a good listener and a friend, a family can count on you in their time of need.

Learning is important for children and families to succeed in life. You can assist parents with their children's education by explaining homework assignments, reading books, and looking for creative ways in which children can learn and enjoy their educational experience.

Families and children need to have fun and laugh. You can be the person who puts a smile on a child or parent's face by having the family engage in fun recreational activities.
